Make it available when it matters.
You have already invested in yourself.
Through meditation, breathwork, martial arts, therapy, or your own exploration.
You can feel what happens inside. Yet under pressure, familiar reactions still take over.
The BODYMIND Program gives you a practical path to work with that gap.
Clear instructions. Individual feedback. A practice you can follow.
You participate actively. I guide you through the learning.
Stillness First
What you focus on grows.
Most attention moves outward. To the problem, the pressure and the next action.
But what happens when attention turns toward the system producing those responses?
That is on of the many ways Stillness First appears.
Stillness reveals the tension before the movement, the defence before the words and the effort before it is needed.
Stillness makes interference visible.
Gravity provides a reference.
Another response becomes possible.
Develop the system first.
Learn to recognise where resistance is consuming capacity, and establish a more stable foundation.
The Program combines:
The BODYMIND Key
Developing capacity through Stillness and Gravity.
The BODYMIND Interface
Stabilise the connection between Operator (Navigator) and Processor (BODYMIND).
Martial principles
Develop structure, timing and economy of force under pressure.
Experience becomes ability through practice.
Over approximately 90 days, you receive:
10 private 45-minute sessions with Simon.
Guided online learning to support your practice.
Individual feedback and email support between sessions.
A closing review and a plan to continue independently.
Allow at least 15 minutes of daily practice. Where appropriate, build toward 30–60 minutes for deeper practice.
Bring your curiosity, some familiarity with feeling into your body, and a willingness to explore.
You do not need to adopt a belief system or become someone you are not.
How to use the body so the soul can live in it comfortably.
The BODYMIND Key™
One method. Three connected steps.
Hold Still.
Recognise unnecessary holding and establish a supported starting point.
Find equilibrium. Stillness first.
Fall Into Place.
Let your weight settle into support. Explore a more open inner body and greater room for your breath.
Less holding. More space.
Keep Falling In Place.
Develop balance as a dynamic practice: maintaining the connection as you move, respond, and meet pressure.
Carry it into life.
Less unnecessary effort. More of you available.
Learn to recognise what consumes your capacity and practise responding with greater ease and choice.
We work toward freer breathing, less bracing, and a more stable physical foundation. Together, we assess what changes in your daily life: your stamina, recovery, responses to stress, and clarity of decisions.
The aim is an ability you can increasingly use yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The Program contains ten private sessions. Simon confirms the proposed rhythm before you enroll so the journey is clear before you commit. Usually the sessions are spread over a period of approximately 90 days.
-
You use the relevant online material and simple practices in daily life. Personal feedback helps you integrate what becomes visible. The support channel and response window are confirmed before enrollment.
-
At the beginning, you identify concrete situations in which capacity is being lost. Progress is reviewed through changes you can observe in those situations, not through generic promises. The method has a built-in validation process in place to ensure you are learning the skill properly.
-
You review what changed, what still needs practice and how to continue independently. Further work is discussed only if it would genuinely serve you. Many BODYMIND Program graduates book a BODYMIND Consult from time to time for maintenance or extra support when life gets shaky.
-
Yes. The Program is available online and in Amsterdam. No martial arts experience is required.
-
The Program may draw on therapeutic work, teaching and coaching. It is an educational and developmental process, not emergency support or a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. That said, this process is thorough and deep. It is a root-level intervention.

Simon is bilingual. He speaks both English and Dutch fluently. These are (currently) the only two languages he speaks well enough to treat and teach in.
