Working with Simon helped me process what I experienced as ancestral wounds held in my body. The work supported me in reconnecting with my ancestors, relating differently to members of my family and making space for forgiveness. Simon also allowed me to include ethnic, cultural and ancestral ways of knowing that are often excluded from conventional Western approaches. I did not have to separate those parts of myself from the process. That openness, combined with the safety Simon created, made our work together feel deeply healing, rewarding and transformative.
