LIFE DOES NOT HOLD STILL.
Learn to keep falling into place.
Balance is not a position you reach once.
It is the ability to remain organised as conditions change.
The BODYMIND Program teaches you to apply The BODYMIND Key in movement, under pressure and in daily life.
Not to maintain a perfect state.
To find your place, again and again
No performance.
No pressure.
We explore whether this is the right work for you.

STILLNESS FIRST
What you focus on grows.
Most attention moves outward. To the problem, the pressure and the next action.
But what happens when attention turns toward the system producing those responses?
That is Stillness First.
Stillness reveals the tension before the movement, the defence before the words and the effort before it is needed.
Stillness makes interference visible.
Gravity provides a reference.
Another response becomes possible.
DEVELOP THE SYSTEM FIRST
Learn to recognise where resistance is consuming capacity, and establish to a more stable foundation.
The Program combines:
The BODYMIND Key
Stability through Stillness and Gravity.
The BODYMIND Interface
Turn internal perception into deliberate action.
Martial principles
Develop structure, timing and economy of force under pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The Program contains ten private sessions. Simon confirms the proposed rhythm before you enroll so the journey is clear before you commit. Usually the sessions are spread over a period of approximately 90 days.
-
You use the relevant online material and simple practices in daily life. Personal feedback helps you integrate what becomes visible. The support channel and response window are confirmed before enrollment.
-
At the beginning, you identify concrete situations in which capacity is being lost. Progress is reviewed through changes you can observe in those situations, not through generic promises. The method has a built-in validation process in place to ensure you are learning the skill properly.
-
You review what changed, what still needs practice and how to continue independently. Further work is discussed only if it would genuinely serve you. Many BODYMIND Program graduates book a BODYMIND Consult from time to time for maintenance or extra support when life gets shaky.
-
Yes. The Program is available online and in Amsterdam. No martial arts experience is required.
-
The Program may draw on therapeutic work, teaching and coaching. It is an educational and developmental process, not emergency support or a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. That said, this process is thorough and deep. It is a root-level intervention.

Simon is bilingual. He speaks both English and Dutch fluently. These are (currently) the only two languages he speaks well enough to treat and teach in.
