ABOUT SIMON

I found out the hard way so you don’t have to.

My exploration began at nine, with martial arts, breathing, and meditation. It also became deeply personal: I lived with debilitating chronic back pain for years.

I know what it’s like to understand your patterns, try different approaches, and still wake up with the same pain. Knowledge alone wasn’t enough. I needed to discover what could actually change what I was experiencing.

That search shaped how I work today. It taught me to listen carefully, question explanations, and take someone’s experience seriously, even when the problem is invisible or difficult to explain.

Over thirty years, I explored therapeutic work, movement, and personal and spiritual development. When I entered the internal martial art of Yiquan, the pieces began coming together.

They became my most complete vehicle for self-growth and capacity development: a way to physically practise balance, clarity, and calm under pressure.

All my work is martial arts inspired. The purpose is practical: develop physical balance and inner steadiness for modern daily life. Build capacity beyond everyday demands, creating a reserve to draw on through challenges and as you grow older.

Today, I’m a therapist, teacher, coach, and author of Falling In Place. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with more than a thousand people.

I’ve witnessed changes and recoveries in my practice that went far beyond my own beliefs and expectations. Those experiences have taught me to stay curious, minimise my assumptions, and respect how much we still don’t understand about the human capacity for change.

My own pain taught me the cost of searching without finding a way forward. My professional practice taught me to meet each person’s situation on its own terms.

I bring that experience together in BODYMIND Technology: to help you change what holds you back, develop your capacity, and find your own direction.

So the work you do on yourself becomes something you can rely on in life.
